Agent Emerson is a Spectrum agent who appears in Ruby Redfort, Catch Your Death.
He was one of the agents assisting the survival test in which agents have to follow various routes to arrive at Spectrum's base camp in the woods in three days. There are other challenges in the middle (e.g. swimming across rivers, rustling a horse). Ruby fails the test as she sustains an injury on her left leg and loses her glasses, causing her to arrive late by thirteen hours.
"Emerson didn't seem like such a hard nut after all - he could cook at least" Ruby remarks as she smells the stew Emerson was cooking for her. According to LB, Emerson waited around at the base camp for twelve hours, fifty-seven minutes and three seconds (by choice) to bring Ruby in, so he probably isn't such a hard nut after all.
